How Addiyon works, and what to do when something goes wrong.
Getting started
Addiyon is a marketplace for buying and selling locally. You can browse and search listings without an account. You need an account to post a listing, save listings, follow sellers, or contact a seller.
Everything tied to your account lives under the account menu: open the avatar in the top-right corner for your shortcuts, or use the sidebar on any account page for the full list.
Posting a listing
Choose Post Listing, pick the category that fits your item, then add a clear title, an honest description, the price, and photos. Categories ask for their own details — things like brand, condition, or size — and filling them in makes your listing far easier to find.
New listings are reviewed before they appear publicly. You will get a notification when yours is approved or rejected, and you can follow its status any time under My Ads.
Why a listing was rejected
Every listing is checked before it goes live. The most common reasons for a rejection are prohibited or counterfeit items, misleading titles and descriptions, photos that do not show the actual item, missing or nonsensical details, and reposting an item that is already listed.
The rejection notice tells you which rule the listing fell foul of. Open the listing from My Ads, fix the problem, and save it to send it back for review.
Saved listings and following sellers
The bookmark on any listing adds it to Saved Listings so you can come back to it later. Following a seller from their storefront adds them to Following Sellers, and you will be notified when they post something new.
Choose what you get notified about — and how — under Notification preferences.
Blocking and reporting
If a seller is a nuisance, block them from their storefront or from any of their listings. You will stop seeing their ads, and they will not be able to reach you. Everyone you have blocked is listed under Blocked Sellers, where you can unblock them again at any point.
Reporting is separate from blocking and comes to us for review. Use the report option on a listing or a seller when something breaks the rules, rather than only hiding it from your own feed.
Your account and your data
Update your name, photo, and contact details under Profile. What we collect and why is set out in the Privacy Policy, and the rules for using the marketplace are in the Terms of Service.
You can delete your account and its data at any time from Account deletion. Deleting is permanent and also removes your listings.
